PURPOSE:To simplify the maintenance check of car equipments by means of a side guard supported with pins to be easily opened and closed. CONSTITUTION:Support arms 2 are fixed on a car frame 1. On a vertical member 4 of each support arm 2, a guard main body 5 is fixed with pins 8 at two points above and below. Since fixing member 7 of the guard main body 5 are provided with notches 10 in their upper parts, the guard main body can be turned a round upper pins 8 when lower pins 8 are drawn out. Since the guard is provided on support arms 2, an equivalent strength to that of a fixed guard can be reserved. It can be released only by drawing out pins 8, resulting in simplified maintenance check. |
