PURPOSE:To make the dispersing property excellent and to increase the electromagnetic performance at high band especially, by coating the magnetic paint which is the mixture of phosphate consisting of alcohol, binder, magnetic powder and curing component with the specific ratio to the base. CONSTITUTION:The phosphate is made of alkylphenyl radical, in which the addition of ethylene oxide or propylene oxide is <=5mol, and the binder contains by <=27pts.wt. to the magnetic powder. For example, after adjusting the magnetic substance with the component shown in the example of execution, this magnetic paint is coated on the base to obtain the magnetic recording medium according to normal means. Thus, even if coating is made after the magnetic paint is left for a long time, there is no difference of the surface property or other properties and orientation in comparison with quick coating, allowing to increase the orientation and electromagnetic characteristic at high band. |
