Disclosed are a separation and recollection apparatus for collecting aluminum from aluminum-based waste and a method thereof. The separation and recollection apparatus of the present invention comprises: a reception unit which receives aluminum-based waste including a rubber element; a crushing unit which crushes the received aluminum-based waste; a packing unit which packs the crushed aluminum-based waste in a box; a separation unit which provides a stripping agent, formed by mixing methylene chloride, toluene, xylene, and dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA), to the box and separates aluminum by removing the rubber element from the aluminum-based waste by using the stripping agent; a compression unit which recollects the separated aluminum from the box and compresses the collected aluminum; and a discharge unit which discharges the compressed aluminum. |
