Compounds of the general formula: (I) wherein R1 represents hydrogen or halogen in the 4-, 5- or 6-position of the pyridyl radical and R2 represents hydrogen, straight- or branched-chain alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or phenyl, possess anthelmintic activity, having a broad spectrum of activity against nematodes.
