PURPOSE:To prepare a ptisan drink having rich fragrance and servable only by opening the container, easily, by sealing a pack containing roast barley together with water in a vessel, and heating the contents. CONSTITUTION:Granular or ground roast barley is packed in a bag made of resin- treated netlike paper, resin-treated Japanese paper, gauze, etc., and sealed together with water in a metallic can, a resin-laminated bag, etc. which is durable to the subsequent heating process (usually at 85-125 deg.C). To prevent the floating of the bag containing dried roast barley to the surface of water by the buoyant force, it is effective to put a weight such as glass ball, stainless steel ball, etc. in the bag. Heating of the contents affords preservable ptisan drink. |
