FIELD: construction of pipelines.SUBSTANCE: pipe laying vessel comprises upward pipe-laying derrick, welding area for connection of new pipeline branches to the edge of retained tower pipeline. Pipe-laying derrick has a clamping device arranged to retain the branch pipe with its lower edge in the area of edge of the retained pipeline. Clamping device is made to direct the branch of pipeline upward from its bottom edge along pipe-laying derrick. Clamping device comprises clamp branches of the pipeline, pipeline branch made capable to move from position along pipe-laying derrick shifted relative to pipe laying path in position whereat it about is aligned with pipe laying path. Clamp is arranged to align branch pipe relative the edge of the pipeline and control of direction by means of rotation about two mutually perpendicular axes perpendicular to longitudinal axis of pipe-laying derrick. Pipe laying ship can contain a set of clamps, located on pipe-laying tower. Clamp branch pipe can be made with possibility of turning branch pipe about its lengthwise axis.EFFECT: disclosed is a method for construction of pipelines.14 cl, 11 dwg |
