<p>This invention is concerned with dry liquid concentrates of hydrated alumina, that is, aluminum trihydrate, coated with a substantial amount of a silane containing three hydrolyzable groups bonded to a silicon atom thereof and containing at least one monvalent group which contains a polyalkylene oxide moiety therein, and/or hydrolyzates.
