摘要 PURPOSE:To measure a microscopic flow rate with high accuracy by providing a vertical container into which gathered liquid is discharged from a syphon tube every time a fixed quantity of liquid has been gathered, a weight detector which detects the change in the weight of the liquid including the container every time the liquid is discharged and outputs a signal, and an apparatus which calculates a flow rate therefrom and performs display. CONSTITUTION:In a microflowmeter 1 for controlling the amount of the liquid supplied to an artificial kidney or the like, a vertical container 2, which is provided with a liquid inlet 3, a discharging syphon tube 4 leading to the outside of the container and a vent hole 5 which shuts off bacteria and admits the outer air, is suspended, by a suspending cord 10, from one end of a rod 12 supported at a support 11. The rod 12 is held by a spring 13 so that the left side is upper, and at the other end of the rod 12, limit switches 7a and 7b are provided. As liquid enters from the liquid inlet 3 and the liquid level l in the container 2 rises, the left side of the rod 12 lowers, and when reaching the higher limit lH of the syphon tube 4, the liquid level l lowers, while reaching the lower limit lL, the rod 12 moves upward. Thus, the motion of the rod 12 is detected by the switches 7a and 7b, and the flow rate is calculated by a microcomputer 8 and displayed on a display device 9.
