PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of computer system, by preventing the mis- processing of constant periodic processing data with very simple constitution, through the monitor of delay in the processing relating to the constant periodic processing data. CONSTITUTION:The periodic signal P1 every gamma period is output from a periodic signal generation section 1, and when the delay period number signal DP1 of counter value of the delay period counter 2 is at 1, the processing request command S1 relating to the constant period processing data is output from the delay period monitor section 3, it is detected at the multiplexer MPX and the processing of the constant periodic processing data is made. When this processing is finished, the data processing end signal P3 is output, the delay period counter 2 is counted down and the signal DP1 is zero. While this time, other indefinite period processing data with processing request is executed. If the delay in the processing of constant periodic processing data is within the permissible value, the specified processing after that is executed. If it is outside the permissible value, the failure signal P3 is output, the delay periodic counter 2 is reset and alarm is output. |
