The circuit has a central on button (ZE) and an off button (ZA) which buttons emit a pulse to the winding of in each case one current-impulse switch (S) of each lighting unit (L), via a changeover contact (K) having a diode connected to it. These lighting units can be switched on and off individually by operating buttons (T) which are arranged in a decentralised manner.
