The biopsy tweezers comprise two concentric tubes (1,2) movable axially in relation to each other, and two or more complementary jaws (3,4) protruding from one end of the outer tube, and hinging on both. A pair of arms (13,4) which are pivoted together move one of the tubes axially, and swing the jaws between the open and shut positions. Each arm is mounted to one of the tubes. When shut, the jaws can bear against each other on the axis of the two tubes, while when open they can be parallel to this axis and form an extension of the inner tube. They can hinge on two perpendicular axes each passing through the tube axis.
|
