<p>Appts. for detecting the exact location of a volume in relation to the situation of its support is described comprising devices for bearing onto the surface of the volume so as to centre an element of the appts wrt. the volume, and connections from this element to the support, which allow deterimation of the Cartesian and angular coordination of the volume wrt. the support that the latter can be brought into coincidence with the element to be centred. Appts. is used in nuclear reactors for remote handling of fuel elements. The location detection appts. simplifies the problems of interchange of fuel elements inside the reactor.</p> |
