PURPOSE:To provide an agricultural film (a covering material used for culture in plastic greenhouse, culture in plastic tunnel, mulch cultivation, etc.) in which heat retaining properties are improved, by blending a modified silicone rubber with a base material for the film. CONSTITUTION:1-30pts.wt. modified silicone rubber [a silicone rubber contg. an ethylene-propylene rubber (e.g., SEP-Rubber series , products of Shinetsu Kagaku K.K.)] and, if desired, a weather-resistance improver and an anti-dripping agent are added to 100pts.wt. base material (e.g., polyethylene or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer). These materials are melt-mixed. The mixt. is molded into a film to produce the desired agricultural film. |
