<p>An enclosure, e.g. for an emergency operating theatre or as shelter against radioactive dust, has a wall part movable to vary temporarily the internal volume, an inlet and outlet each with a non-return valve, and a filter in the inlet, optionally with a further filter in the outlet. One or more walls may be of flexible material or there may be a frame with flexible elements. A framed ceiling may be attached by springs to an external support frame, or a pair of opposed walls may be movable to and from each other, with a telescopic spring strut biasing them into their normal positions. walls, ceiling and flooring may be e.g. of flexible PVC.</p> |
