PURPOSE:To obtain the divided type heat-shrinkable tube having an uniform quality in a simple manner by a method wherein a crosslinked polyorefin sheet equipped with protuberances at the both sides thereof is grasped by grasping tools at the protuberance parts thereof and is stretched under heating. CONSTITUTION:The original sheet 11 is formed by contour extrusion method or the like so as to have the protuberances 13 provided at both sides of one face of the sheet part 12 and a tongue part 14 extended from one side of the sheet part 12. The protuberances 13 become a fitting part after the orientation while the tongue part 14 is for keeping the air-tightness of the fitting part and is formed so as to be thinner than the sheet part because it is not stretched. The original sheet 11 is tightened and held by the grasping tools 15 grasping the protuberances 13 at both sides thereof, then, is heated to the stretching temperature thereof and the grasping tools are separated each other into arrow sign directions to stretch the sheet part only, subsequently, a heat fusible type adhesive 17 is coated uniformly on the whole surface of the face thereof which have no protuberance 13, thus, the sheet is utilized for the protection of a connecting part of a cable or the like or a repairing part or a sheath. |
