PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a riser section and facilitate processing and connecting work by a method wherein a nose of lead sections connected to the same segment is integrally hardened, and pressed into an opening section at the core side of the segment and the whole is molded with resin. CONSTITUTION:A nose section 3c of a pair of upper and lower lead sections which must be connected to the same segment is caulked and hardened integrally in the lead sections 3b of an armature coil 3. The nose section 3c is pressed into an opening section 16a formed to an end surface at the core 2 side of the segment 16, and insulating resin 10 is deposited on the lead sections 3b and an outer circumferential section of the segment 16 including the circumference of a pressed-in section. A feed brush 9 is contacted with an end surface 16b at the anti-core side of the segment 16 from the axial direction, but can also be contacted from the circumferential direction when the resin 10 is not deposited on the outer circumferential section of the segment 16. Thus, manufacturing time can be shortened, and a centrifugal- force resisting property of the lead sections 3b is also improved. |
