<p>A dough portioning device for crusty rolls or small loaves of bread with a group of measuring chambers on the periphery of a revolving drum, each with a piston in various positions depending on the angle of turn, was described in the parent patent. In the dough discharge position, the measuring pistons are flush in their measuring chamber with the periphery and remain in that position for 180 deg. until they face the loading position. This ensures that no air is trapped during the loading operation and the dough is treated gently.</p> |
