<p>The parent patent describes an exhibition or display assembly for stands, publicity, partitioning etc. consisting of a large number of individual chains carrying reflecting or shiny metal foil or plastics discs and the like, the chains being hung close together. In the patent of addition, the chains are suspended from or stretched between the shaft ends (stub shafts 22) of bevel gear wheels (24) rotatably mounted in frame members and driven by perpendicular bevel gear wheels (30) mounted on a common shaft passing through the frame member. Pref., a cube-shape connecting element joins together up to four frame members lying in one plane; this cube-shaped, structural connecting element acts as a housing for four mutually perpendicular bevel gears, all having their shafts projecting at 90 deg. from one another in the same plane, and each used for driving one of the common shafts described above. For display curtaining, exhibition stands, advertising sheets and the like. Compared with the parent patent, the present arrangement enables the display chains to be rotated through 180 deg. or more, instead of merely 80 deg. in the parent patent.</p> |
