摘要 <p>The method is used for encoding low frequency signals, used with P.C.M. and video, within an existing communications network. This is achieved by allocating each half cycle of the low frequency signal a high or a low state, two or more cycles forming a binary word. Transmission paths with communication bandwidth are multiplexed into a number of channels, one for each transmitted frequency. A bit encoder (Bz) is coupled to an oscillator so as to switch to the next bit after each zero-level crossover, the bit corresp. to the amplitude.</p>
