Measuring values corresp. to blood separation - uses sudden or gradual transfer to low residual shearing

The method for determining a measurement value corresp. to a blood separation involves using a syllectogram obtained from a blood sample. The blood aggregation is not measured at a sudden rest condition following shearing but after a transfer to a continuous low residual shearing. The transfer may be achieved suddenly or steadily. The beginning of the aggregation phase is selected as an extreme value of the syllectogram within a defined period following the transfer to constant residual shearing. Alternatively, the measurement may be made alternately for a sudden halt following shearing and after a transfer to a residual shearing. The method may be used for agglutination investigations.
