PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor of suppressed degradation of sensitizing dyes and improved durability by dispersing the one prepd. by coating ZnO particles by using a soln. of a vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer and sensitizing dyes in a binder. CONSTITUTION:ZnO powder is added into a soln. prepd. by dissolving a sensitizing dye such as rose bengal together with a vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer in a good solvent for both (tetrahydrofuran etc.) and these are mixed with a ball mill or the like, after which the ZnO dispersion is added under vigorous stirring into a solvent such as ligroin which does not dissolve both to allow the polymer to deposit together with said die on the ZnO particles, thence the soln. is filtered. The resultant ZnO particles are dispersed in a soln. of a binder such as acrylic resin in toluene or the like, whereby the photosensitive coating is prepd. This coating is coated on an Al plate or the like, whereby a photoconductive layer is formed. These yield the photoreceptor having high durability which is difficult to degrade despite repeated exposure and charging. |
