Heat pump with spray nozzles - delivers medium intermittently into evaporator tubes

The heat pump uses a working medium which is intermittently sprayed via nozzles into the individual evaporation tubes, utilising the pressure drop between condenser and evaporator. The system is regulated by a number of groups of nozzles handling different quantities. These are switched in and off by the fluctuations in the liquid medium level running out from the condenser. The compressor and condenser can be supplied with wet vapour, whose moisture is obtained from the finely dispersed working medium from the nozzles.
