PURPOSE:To prevent error operation of a starter lamp in a socket-mounting fluorescent lamp, where the starter lamp and a stabilizer are integrally unified with the fluorescent lamp, by separately providing the starter lamp and the stabilizer to both ends of the fluorescent lamp. CONSTITUTION:To one end of a cylindrical light permeable or semipermeable enveloped tube 1 with openings at its both ends, a base 2 is connected while the other end is sealed by a cap 4. In the enveloped tube 1 a linear tube fluorescent lamp 5 is housed, both ends of which are held by holders 6, 7. In either one of the base 2 or the cap a stabilizer 8 is contained, while in the other one a starter lamp 9 is housed, and the starter lamp 9, being separately arranged from the stabilizer 8, never causes error operation to turn off the fluorescent lapm due to heat radiated from the stabilizer 8. The base 2, being capable of screw mounting to a screwed type socked, can permit the use of the fluorescent lamp instead of an incandescent lamp. |
