PURPOSE:To obtain toner suitable to high-speed copying in which any toner film is formed on a photoreceptor and carrier surface electrified with excellent negative polarity, by incorporating a copolymer of a monomer containing F and another monomer or a co-condensate. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer of a 100pts.wt. polymerizing monomer, such as CF2=CF2, containing F and another 0.5-50pts.wt. monomer containing no F or co-condensate of HOOC(CF2)nCOOH, provided that (n) is 1-8, and another monomer in the same proportion is obtained by polymerization or condensation. Then, toner is produced by mixing the obtained copolymer and necessary pigment, magnetic powder, etc., together, by performing suspension polymerization by the said additives mixed with the monomers, or by grinding the polymer. Thus, the toner can be obtained with is fixed rapidly even in high-speed copying, without contaminating a fixation roll and photoreceptor. |
