<p>PURPOSE:To enhance an HCl removing ratio and simplify an installation by a method wherein an absorbing slurry containing slaked lime or the like is sprayed from a rotary disc and revolved and fallen along with an HCl containing waste gas to be reacted with HCl in said gas and, thereby, the controlling against load change of the waste gas is facilitated. CONSTITUTION:The absorbing slurry containing a chemical agent reacted with HCl such as slaked lime or the like is sprayed from the rotary disc 12 attached to an upper part of a cylindrical spray drying apparatus 10 to a peripheral direction by utilizing centrifugal force of the disc 12 and, at the same time, the waste gas is flowed into from a waste gas inflow port 11. The absorbing slurry is reacted with HCl in the waste gas while revolved and fallen downwardly. The waste gas after reaction is sent to an electric dust collector from a waste gas discharge port 14 and, after a dust is caught, the purified gas is discharged. Most of a reaction product is discharged from a discharge port 13 and the remainder thereof is collected by said electric dust collector. An amount of slaked lime and an amount of the absorbing slurry are adjusted and a rotation number of the rotary disc 12 is controlled corresponding to a waste gas amount, a waste gas temp. and an HCl concn.</p> |
