PURPOSE:To simplify the setting mechanism for the ratio of magnification by moving both ends of a driving wire in the same or different directions by the same extent. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with moving pulley 20 supported rotatably by half-speed unit 19, driving wire 21 wound differing in direction around pulley 20 in a channel shape, equal-speed unit 18 supported and fixed on one wire 21, fixed pulleys 23 and 24 arranged outside of the surface on which units 18 and 19 scan an original in parallel and coupled with driving motor 22 for scanning the original via wire 21, and half-speed optical system slide part 36 which moves both the ends of wire 21 in the same or opposite directions by the same extent. For contraction copying operation, mirror 14, half-speed mirror 19 and pulley 20 operate in a body and movement extent 2DELTAx of wire 21 and movement extent DELTAx of pulley 20 vary according to respective ratios of magnification. |
