Abrasion end section for concrete pump - has abrasion ring, turnable and lockable on hingeable pipe slide

The end section is for a movable hingeable pipe control slide, and the contacting wear resistant gland of a multi- cylinder concrete pump. A wear ring (1) is located on the end face of the control slide opposite to the hingeable pipe (9). The ring is turnable about the central axis, and may be locked. The gland has a higher wear resistant value in the main zone of abrasion. The wear ring is pushed onto or let into the hingeable pipe, and is locked against rotation by a combination of groove/nose; groove/screw; groove/pin. The gland has cast-in areas of graduated abrasion wear resistance.
