PURPOSE:To improve strength and durability without deteriorating other characteristics, by improving the adhesion capability between a conductive member as a screen base and a photoconductive layer by applying a silane coupling agent between the conductive member and the photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:On conductive layer (Ni-alloy-made substrate, etc., of 30mum in wire width and 250 meshes) 2 which is the base of screen photoreceptor 1, a solution of a silane coupling agent, such as gamma-amino propyl-triethoxysilane, is applied and dried. Next, photoconductive layer 3 is formed by vapor-depositing a photoconductive substance such as CdS or by applying it dispersed in resin. On layer 3, insulating layer 4 of polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, etc., is further provided. Thus, screen photoreceptor 1 is tolerant to the external forces of bending, snapping, etc., and has improved durability. |
