<p>Secondary sprung suspension, between body and bogie frame has one or more springs in each longitudinal side area, supported on the body and indirectly connected to the bogie frame, on a vehicle travelling on rails. The spring is hinged to the bogie frame via a straight guiding system made up from levers. This is pref. in the form of a Roberts triangular guide-rod unit, with two arms of a triangular lever hinge-connected with a lever mounted on the bogie frame. Simple construction improves vehicle running, and reduces wheel and rail wear.</p> |
