<p>The insulated cover is formed from a metal profile having contact surfaces positioned between two stepped sections enabling installation by one hand. The head section is pref. rounded. The plastics coating is basically U-shaped to surround the metal profile, the plastics material being omitted in the region of the abutting ends. Two covering halves of insulating material extend from the stepped sections to the head section. Each covering half (1,2) surrounds the complete head section (8) and can be parted in elastically-sprung fashion. One half (2) has inner projections (14) for clamping a coupling strap (13) that can be inserted in side recesses of the abutting ends.</p> |
