With this gear-grinding machine, profile-corrected and longitudinally corrected tooth flanks can be generated on a workpiece (W). The corrections required for this are taken on the one hand from a longitudinal-correction transducer (60) and on the other hand from a profile-correction transducer (80). Mechanically generated signals are converted into electric signals in these correction transducers and are transmitted via corresponding lines (76, 92) to a control device (78), from which actuating transducers (104) can be activated. Starting from these actuating transducers, actuators (100) in a hydraulic system bring about a displacement of a grinding head (38) which carries a grinding wheel (40) machining the tooth flank. In particular the appropriate cutting feed and desired transmission ratios between correction transducer and the corresponding actuators (100) can be preselected at a control panel (112) and an associated indicating unit (114). <IMAGE>
