<p>The voltage converter, transforms a battery voltage into a mains alternating voltage. It incorporates an oscillator, which operates at mains frequency, a power amplifier and a transformer. The output of the transformer supplies a meander- shaped output voltage. A circuit supplying the control voltage to the power amplifier (4,5) contains an integrating network (13,14). It produces a rise time of the pulse of the order of 1ms. The integrator is formed by a RC network. The control to the power amplifier is broken during the rise period.</p> |
