发明名称 MEASURING METHOD FOR CONCENTRATION OF WATER IN SAMPLE GAS
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the content of water in a sample gas, by using facing two conductive boards putting between an adsorbent of water as detecting electrodes and measuring the capacitance between two electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A sample gas absorbed from the suction hole 5 is entered the suction side air room 12 passing through the cylindrical member 8, guide hole 16' and honeycombed hole 11. The measuring electrode (a) putting the adsorbent 2, such as activated alumina, having a good adsorption capacity of water between the porous conductive board 1 composed of anticorrosive material e.g. porous stainless steel, is provided in the room 12. When the sample gas passes from the board 1 to the adsorbent 2, adsorption equilibrium in accordance with the concentration of water is shown in the adsorbent 2. At this time, the water is concentrated and is maintained in the adsorbent 2 and then, the capacitance is varied between the electrodes in accordance with the content of water in the sample gas. Response is quick because the space of the electrode (a) is narrow and the sample gas is supplied to the electrode itself directly. The sample gas is discharged through the exhaust side air room 7 afrer passing through the electrode (a).
