PURPOSE:To miniaturize a locking mechanism for smaller mounting space by stepless lifting employing a parallel link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A parallel link mechanism is composed of arms 3a-3d between a seat rail 1 and a seat frame 2 and adjusts the height of the seat frame from the seat rail with connecting bars 4a-4b fastened at the bottom of the arms. A locking mechanism 5 is composed of a rotary gear 6 fixed on the connecting bar 4a and the arm 3a, a latch gear 7, a cam plate 8, a pin 9 adapted to move the gear 7 sliding along a slot 8a, a lock spring 10 fixed on the cam plate 8 and the like. Then, a lock releasing lever 12 adapted to turn the cam plate 8 on the connecting bar 4a is engaged with the tip of the cam plate 8 and turns vertically to move up and down the seat frame 2. |
