PURPOSE:To enable the rubber remaining in a mixer to be effectively avoided by a method in which in the state of the lower door for discharging of a kneader being closed, the rotor of the mixer is continuosly operated for a prescribed time at the revolution number equal to a specified revolution number or loss. CONSTITUTION:In the last stage of the refining process of raw material rubber in a prescribed compounding, the revolution number of a rotor 2 is reduced to the low speed-revolution of at most ten rpm before ten seconds-ten and some seconds from the finish of said kneading in the state of the door 3 for discharging being closed. This state is continued for ten and some seconds-twenty and some seconds. In said period, the cooling effect due to the circulating water flow for a casing and the rotor is remarkably accelerated, whereby the adhering rubber shrinks of itself and restores its viscosity, and is separated from the inner wall surface of the casing, and is incorporated with the rubber 5 to be kneaded. On one hand, the phenomena of flowing out newly into the clearance is avoided. Accordingly, the kneaded rubber is perfectly collected without remainder in the cavity by opening the lower door 3 for discharging thereafter. |
