<p>Rollers (14) of a roller bearing (10) are disposed between a cup-shaped bearing shell (12) and a trunnion (16) which forms part of a cruciform member (18) of a universal joint. The interior of the bearing is sealed by an elastomeric sealing member (24) onto which an inturned end lip (20) on the bearing shell (12) is snap-fitted by virtue of an inclined ramp surface (28) on the sealing member, the end lip (20) being thereby received in an annular groove (26) in the sealing member (24).
