PURPOSE:To eliminate a retaining mechanism when lifting a seat by thrusting to turn a roller provided on the undersurface of a seat with the lifting of a thrust lever through the rotation of a control shaft so that it is shifted onto the plate on a leg. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft 7 and a roller 8 are provided on the undersurface of a seat and a device which is adapted to retain the roller with a cut groove 4a in a plate 4 provided on a leg when lowering the seat operates a control shaft 10 in the leg from outside to raise a thrust lever 12. The thrust lever 12 is fastened on a control shaft 10 so as to be positioned below the roller 8 engaged with the cut groove 4a. The control shaft 10 is turned to lift the lever 12 causing the roller 8 to be pushed up. This thrusts the roller 8 sideways on an inclined surface 12a of the thrust lever 12 near a position at which it slips from the cut groove 4 and shift it out of the cut groove thereby eliminating the retaining mechanism for lifting the seat. |
