PURPOSE:To eliminate a retaining mechanism when lifting a seat by thrusting to turn a roller provided on the undersurface of a seat with lifting of a thrust lever through the rotation of a control shaft so that the roller is shifted onto the plate on a leg. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft 7 and a roller 8 are provided on the undersurface of a seat. A device which is adapted to retain the roller with a cut groove 4a in a plate 4 provided on a leg when lowering the seat operates a control shaft 10 in the leg from outside to raise a thrust lever 21. The thrust lever 21 is supported through a shaft so as to be positioned below the roller 8 engaged with the cut groove 4a and in contact with a contact member 23 whose one end is fixed on the leg. The control shaft 10 is turned to lift the thrust lever 21 and pushes up the roller 8 while turns with the contacting member 23 whereby the roller is shifted onto a plate on the leg. Thereby, the retaining mechanism is eliminated for lifting the seat. |
