NEW MATERIAL:A piperazine compound shown by the formula I (R is alkyl or phenyl; n is 4 or 5), and its inorganic or organic acid addition salt. EXAMPLE:1-Methyl-4-(N-pyrrolidinocarbonyl)piperazine. USE:An imminoligical activator. Useful for remedying chronic rheumatism or cancer immunotherapy. Having low toxicity, extremely useful as a drug. PROCESS:A 1-substituted-4-chlorocarbonylpiperazine shown by the formula II is condensed with a cyclic amine shown by the formula II in a solvent, e.g., benzene, toluene, etc. at 0-120 deg.C, to give a compound shown by the formula I. The compound shown by the formula II, for example, is synthesized by reacting a 1-substituted piperazine with phosgene. The compound shown by the formula I formed in the above-mentioned reaction, for example, is isolated and purified by extracting it with a dilute acid, changing it alkali so that is is free, followed by distillation under reduced pressure, etc. |
