PURPOSE:To rationalize the equipment by a method wherein by selection of the paper feed route, folded pages of different types are discharged to the same paper discharge unit by a single folding machine. CONSTITUTION:On the paper feed route below a nipping roller 4, a folding drum 21 and a guillotine drum 22 are mounted on a frame through shafts, facing to each other while sandwiching a printed paper 10. On the periphery of the folding drum 21, a holding plate 25 and a guillotine cutter bearing 26 are disposed 180 deg. out of phase with each other. Moreover, an insert knife 27, a guillotine cutter 28 and a needle 29 are provided on the periphery of the guillotine drum 22. Diagonally below the nipping roller 4, a folding guillotine drum 34 is mounted on the frame through a shaft, to form another paper feed route, from the nipping roller 4 to said folding guillotine drum 34. Moreover, diagonally below the folding guillotine drum 34, a holding drum 40 is mounted on the frame through a shaft, contacting with the folding guillotine drum 34 and the folding drum 21 to serve for both. |
