PURPOSE:To produce the suspension electrode by a method wherein an electrode plate is caused to perform a horizontal uniform circular motion and simultaneously the inclination angle of the plate against a floor surface is changed synchronously with the circular motion. CONSTITUTION:The electrode plate loaded thereon with particles to be suspended in a horizontally supported electrolytic cell is placed horizontally in a horizontally supported electrolytic cell, and the plate is moved so that the center thereof performs the horizontal motion while the plate has a maximum inclination angle in a direction of a fixed angle against the tangential direction at each point on the circular locus. Accordingly, vibration and a deflective force are applied to the particles, providing an electrode function. The angle included between the projection of the direction of the maximum inclination angle of the electrode plate onto the locus plane of the circular motion and the tangential direction at each point on the circular locus of the circular motion of the center of the plate is preferably 45 deg.+ or -10 deg.. |
