PURPOSE:To reduce a memory capacity for an electronic timepiece with a memory diary by using a memory which memorizes the setting and nonsetting of a memorandum according to a data and a memory which memorizes the category of memorandum. CONSTITUTION:Either of the setting or nonsetting of a memorandum is written at an address position corresponding to a data covering one year in RAM-D 41 and is accessed by an address corresponding to a given day according to a data indication through the intermediary of a counter 42, thus controlling AND gate through which memorandum category data which is read out from RAM-M 49, passes. In the meantime, a memoradum category information such as 64 days which is written in RAM-M 49 is accessed and read out by a counter 45 which works in response to ''read out'' information of RAM-D 41, a counter 44 which works in response to a data indication, etc. At the same time, the contents of RAM-M are reedited based on the counts of the counter 44, 45 starting with a date of today through a multiplexer, etc. Under this method, the memory capacity of an electronic timepiece with a memory diary is reduced compared with a method by which to add memory category bit every data convering one year. |
