The invention relates to a mobile facility for raising and treating animals which are used in agriculture, in particular dairy cows, in a group in rectangular barns of high capacity, in which the animals are tethered and transported to the milking. The accommodation system which is described combines the advantages of systems with tethered animals and systems with untethered animals and eliminates some of the disadvantages of these systems at the same time as it enables a maximum degree of mechanisation and automation to be achieved. The facility according to the invention is characterised in that, in the sections 1 and 1a of the barn, which sections are separated from each other by a milking space 2 and a channel 12 which is covered by a grille, a platform rail 130 is arranged, in both the halves, in the longitudinal direction on the barn floor 13, for installing mobile platforms 30 which possess individual standings in whose front parts feeding troughs 304 are arranged, and in that a trailer rail 131 is arranged at right angles to the platform rail 130 in both ends of the sections 1 and 1a, expediently on a lowered floor level, on which trailer rail 131 are placed wheels 321 for trailers 32, which consist of a frame 320 into which has been built a trailer floor 323, and in this floor a rail 322 is arranged in the transverse direction, in the same horizontal plane as the platform rail.
