PURPOSE:To stabilize the posture of the body to be inspected for inspection by a constitution wherein the body to be inspected is inserted into the pocket of a retaining member and the member is rotated and stopped at the position of inspection, while the body is attracted and fixed by a magnet for inspection. CONSTITUTION:When the body 4 to be inspected, such as a conical roller is inserted into the pocket 51 of the nonmagnetic retaining member 5 by a loading device 10, the retaining member 5 is rotated in the direction X and stopped when it reaches the position of inspection. At that time, the body 4 to be inspected is pressed against the outer periphery of the retaining member 5, the upper surface of a member 6 for rotation which rotates in the direction reverse to that of the retaining member 5, and the guiding surface 72 of a guiding member 7 by the attracting force of the magnet 8, and is fixed. Under the condition, inspection is performed through the intermediary of a light source 20 and cameras 30 and 40 and inferior articles are discharged by an inferior-article discharging device 50. By this constitution, the inspection can be performed under the condition that the posture of the body 4 to be inspected is stabilized. |
