PURPOSE:To detect the occurrence of the fault of a microcomputer, by securing a programming so that the bit output that displays the end of execution of a program is transmitted to the prescribed information line every time a program is executed and at the same time installing a monostable circuit. CONSTITUTION:A series of programs are stored in the ROM that is incorporated into the microcomputer 11 which is monitored for the occurrence of fault. The computer 11 is programmed previously so that the bit output that displays the end of execution of program is transmitted onto the information line 13 every time a series of programs are executed one by one. Here a trigger-type monostable circuit 14 is installed to give a trigger output to the computer 11 from the circuit 14 by the bit output and via the line 13. Then the occurrence of a fault can be detected for the computer 11 by driving the driver 15 to light up the alarm lamp 16 when the output of the circuit 14 is broken. |
