PURPOSE:To prepare a product having the same shape, flavor, and texture as those of a ring smoked cuttlefish, by introducing hot water into the cylindrical hollow part, and heating the peripheral surface of the cylinder in contact with hot water in extruding and molding a ground fish meat into the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A raw material 4 consisting of a ground fish meat essentially is suitably seasoned, and extruded through a gap 13 of a nozzle 1 consisting of an outer cylinder 11 and an inner cylinder 12 downward. Hot water is then passed through the interior 15 of the inner cylinder 12 to flow through the hollow part 51 of an extruded cylindrical molded article 5. On the other hand, the cylindrical molded article 5 itself is introduced into a hot water bath 6 and heated from both the inner and the outer surfaces and solidified. The cylindrical molded article 5 is then dried, smoked and sliced to give a product. |
