PURPOSE:To obtain a reflector consisting of a multifaceted element, which satisfies a conjugate relation and can be mass-produced, by constituting a reflector of a multifaceted reflection element, continuously forming plural reflection elements so as to satisfy a conjugate relation of a light source point and a convergence point, and setting the angle of inclination of each reflection element by a specific relation. CONSTITUTION:When deciding the position of inclination of a multifaceted reflection element, at first, a convergence point and a light source are set, and a circular arc for placing the reflection element is decided. Subsequently, the inclination of a reflection element to be set at an optional point on the circular arc is computed by an optional pitch so that the convergence point and the light source become conjugate, and the inclination of each reflection element is decided. Assuming that the optical axis coincides with the (x) axis, when xn and yn are made (x) and (y) co-ordinates and (f) is made a conjugate point internal, the normal of the reflection element, and the optical axis made an angle phin, which becomes as shown by the expression. The figure shows a reflector which has moved said result in parallel with the Z direction, and an aspherical reflection which has rotated centering around the (x) axis. |
