In brief, the present invention relates to an apparatus for mounting roller elements in bearings. It consists of an apparatus body 1 with a groove 2 which is open towards one side of the apparatus body. A hole 5 which crosses this groove 2 somewhat dislocated contains a spindle 17 displaceable between two positions and having a radial shoulder 18 with a width corresponding to the bottom of the groove 2. In one position of the spindle 17, said shoulder 18 constitutes part of said bottom. A guide 12 is arranged for centring of the bearing part 23 in which the rolling elements are to be mounted, relative to the spindle 17. At least one shuttle 14 is arranged for feeding the rolling elements 22 into position on the shoulder 18 when the shoulder 18 constitutes part of the bottom of the groove 2.
