发明名称 DECODING METHOD OF CONVOLUTIONAL CODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance a detecting and compensating capacity of a burst error, by storing the decoding information received a correction with a correcting decoding of the convolutional code by prescribed x clocks. CONSTITUTION:The x units of memories 42 are distributed between the error correcting adder 41 and the compensator 43, and the memory 42 stores the information data that has received a correction equivalent to x clocks. The detecting capacity of a parity check when a burst error is caused with no memory 42 provided is equivalent to the single, double and triple error detections. Thus a probability is secured for the case when all parity checks are ''1'', that is, P0=2X4X8/2<11>=0.03125. With installation of the memory 42, the supplying action is checked x times until the data is supplied to the memory 42 by an amount equivalent to x clocks. Thus this output data receives the above-mentioned burst detection x times during the x clocks to be delivered. If x=5 is defined, the probability to have an output through the memory 42 is reduced to (0.03125)<5>=3.0X10<-8> with an overlock of the burst.
