PURPOSE:To form a color image at high speed and at low cost by a simplified operation by a method in which a heat-sensitive transfer sheet with a hot-melting transfer layer is overlapped on a dry type diazo photosensitive paper and transfer recording is made by using a heat recorder. CONSTITUTION:A hot-melting transfer layer 4 composed of a developer 2 capable of reacting a diazonium salt and a coupling agent and a hot-melt binder 3, e.g., wax, etc., is coated on the surface of a base material 5 to form a heat-sensitive transfer sheet 6. Then, the sheet 6 is overlapped on a dry type diazo photosensitive paper 1, and the base material 5 is heated from the opposite side of the hot-melting transfer layer 4 by means of a heat recorder 7 to transfer the transfer layer 8 onto the dry type diazo photosensitive paper 1. The melting point of the hot-melt binder 3 is preferably 60-90 deg.C and also the thickness of the hot-melting transfer layer 4 is preferably 5-15mu. EFFECT:No recolorizing occurs in noncolored part by undesirable heat, etc. |
